Sob

/sɒb/

  1. an act or sound of sobbing; crying with deep grief.
  2. Estill Sob Quality is definite physiologically as having the following key features:
    1. Thin True Vocal Folds
    2. Retracted False Vocal Folds
    3. Lowered Larynx
    4. Tilted Thyroid Cartilage
    5. Head & Neck Anchoring
    6. Torso Anchoring
  3. Acoustically, Sob Quality is extremely soft/quiet, has the lowest airflow rate of any of the Estill Voice Training Qualities and can be highly therapeutic for the True Vocal Folds.
