About Leon Trayman
Leon Trayman is a London-based voice and performance coach with over 15 years of experience helping performers, professionals, and voice users unlock confident, resilient voices using Estill Voice Training.
As an Estill Mentor Course Instructor (EMCI) and Master Trainer, he combines artistic insight from his acting and directing career with technical precision to deliver transformative results for singers, actors, executives, and teams worldwide.
My Journey in Voice Coaching
Trained as an actor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where I later earned an MFA in Voice Studies, my path began on stage and evolved into coaching after years of performing in theatre, TV, film, radio, and voiceover.
Highlights include Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Malvolio and Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, and directing The Rivals. This front-line experience revealed how vocal challenges impact performance and communication, inspiring me to specialize in voice training that builds stamina, clarity, and authenticity for all.
Today, through Leon Trayman Coaching and TemperVox Ltd, I work globally — from West End shows and drama schools to corporate leaders and international workshops — always rooted in inclusive, neurodivergent-friendly methods.
Pronouns: He/Him/They. Everyone is welcome, including LGBTQIA+ clients; just let me know any specific needs in advance.
"I believe that there is no universal approach to voice training. I tailor high quality sessions specifically for each client, to reflect their individual personality and needs."

Who I Work With
I work with performers and high-level creative professionals who rely on their voice to deliver at the highest standard.
Actors I’ve trained have gone on to perform in leading roles in the West End and internationally, with credits spanning major theatre companies, commercial productions, and new writing. Their work includes appearances at venues such as the National Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as across long-running musicals and critically acclaimed productions.
On screen, clients have appeared in major television dramas, global streaming series, and feature films for platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, the BBC, and Channel 4.
Alongside performers, I’ve also worked with broadcasters, presenters, and senior creatives within the global music and media industries—people for whom vocal clarity, consistency, and authority are essential to their professional impact.
Across all of this work, the focus is the same: building a voice that is reliable, flexible, and capable of meeting the demands of high-performance environments—whether that’s eight shows a week, a live broadcast, or a high-stakes recording session.
